2023 Picnic in the Park
On July 22, 2023, Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn, New York, was transformed into a haven for relaxation, connection, and celebration at Picnic in the Park, a luxury meet-up for over 40 Black Women powered by BLK GETAWAY. Despite the hustle and bustle of city life, this event provided a much-needed pause for attendees to unwind, escape the daily grind, relish in the soft life, and connect with other like-minded women. From the luxury picnic set-up to the fun activities, Picnic in the Park offered attendees a unique elevated experience that left a lasting impression.
THE EXPERIENCE
The park was buzzing with excitement as people gathered together amidst the lush greenery. As soon as guests arrived, they were welcomed with customized baskets containing icebreaker games and questions designed to help them connect with someone new. There were also delicious bites to enjoy, as well as local black-owned vendors offering an array of products to support.
What set this event apart was its focus on fostering community and connection among attendees. Over a luxurious set-up, black women from diverse backgrounds came together to unwind and bond over shared interests. It wasn't just a picnic; it was a gathering of kindred spirits united by a desire to celebrate their dreams and accomplishments in a supportive environment.
