BLK GETAWAY is a platform for Black Women and Women of Color. We are a community-first organization that hosts and plans elevated getaways and gatherings for women to escape their worries, connect, and explore a world beyond their front door. We produce occasions in stunning locations that bring together powerful women from all walks of life to forge stronger kinship, explore our collective power, and take time out of our busy schedules to recharge.
Each year, we plan a series of influential gatherings at premium venues and destinations around the country—from weekend-long vacations to one-day meet-ups—where you can break bread, celebrate, relax, and release. No two events are the same! Each is unique based on a specific theme or objective, and we integrate minority-owned brands into our guest journey for added fellowship and support.
Our mission is simple: to create safe, authentic spaces where we can nurture our sisterhood, build community, aid, and empower each other. We believe solidarity is the most powerful catalyst for change. So, we create these stunning experiences, with impactful programming, to get you out of your city limits, reconnect you with your why, and help you be the best version of yourself.

THE FOUNDER
In the height of the pandemic, BLK GETAWAY was born out of a need for black women to find ways to better connect with like-minded people, escape barriers, and finally feel free to live!
As a Black woman I am constantly hungry for a space where I can feel safe, respected, and included. I believe people of color need space to getaway from the triggers of society, be nurtured and feel seen and heard.
With over a decade of event production experience in publishing, fashion, entertainment, and lifestyle, I want to use my skills, knowledge, and reach to ensure we deliver the finest service to our guests by making sure everyone feels like family. We’re also on a mission to create authentic experiences that put black excellence at the forefront and give our culture and community the space to showcase our talent while equally creating a safe space for those voices to be heard.
