THE FOUNDER
BLK GETAWAY was born from founder Delisha Fields’ personal need for a space where Black women could feel seen, supported, and celebrated. During the pandemic, Delisha—a Global Event Producer and Marketing Strategist—realized that more than ever, women of color needed a sanctuary to escape societal pressures and reconnect with their joy.
As a Black woman who has navigated the challenges of balancing ambition with self-care, Delisha knew firsthand the importance of creating a community where women could step away from the weight of their responsibilities and simply be themselves. With over a decade of experience in experiential event production, she has made it her mission to craft premium, meaningful experiences that feel less like events and more like family reunions.
BLK GETAWAY is Delisha’s love letter to women of color—a space where wellness, sisterhood, and community come together to nurture, restore, and uplift.
